For three years on the third Wednesday of every month Cape Cup opened their doors so we could share the gift of music. On Dec 21st, we held the last FYLOM at Cape Cup, and they closed and retired on Dec 23, 2011. They were very supportive of local Cape Cod music and musicians. Thanks so much, Elise & Bill! Don wrote this about Cape Cup when we started in 2009:
A word about Cape Cup. Another excellent point Bert made is that the reason Cape Cup is so successful is not just the quality of their food (their homemade muffins are uncomparable), but the quality of the people who work there. Cape Cup is not just a coffee shop/cafe – it is a community, a home away from home where the good working people of the Lower Cape can always find a little cheer, someone who knows their name (and they’re always glad they came!).
We wish Bill and Elise much happiness in their new found retirement, and will always be appreciative of the service they provided to the Lower Cape creative community.
